Someone Has Died is an improvisational storytelling game that takes one of the coldest and most arduous legal procedures a person can endure and turns it into a gut-busting, baby role-playing game that players of all skill levels can enjoy.

Hello!
This is going to be a meaty update, so let's get to it!
Rewards!
First off, if your pledge included a hand-made doll or a personalized obituary, your rewards have officially shipped out! Hooray!

We sent out a huge batch of Sympathy Postcard packs before Gen Con, so those should have arrived by now! The games will be shipping out separately from the rewards, and we're still waiting on confirmation that the games have arrived at our fulfillment centers. Once they've arrived, they'll be packed and sent out to backers. We'll send notifications to all backers once we have word that the games have arrived at the fulfillment centers!

Events!
We had an amazing time at Gen Con! Thank you to everyone who came to our events and played with us! And thank you to the backers who stopped by our table just to say hi!
A successful first Gen Con!
At the end of the month, we'll be embarking on our Pacific Northwest Adventure! We'll be starting in Seattle with PAX West, and then taking a trip down to Oregon for Rose City Comic Con! You can see all the upcoming events we have planned by checking out our website here.

Hello!
Just a quick update to say that the first batch of rewards is on its way! Those of you receiving the Sympathy Postcard pack can expect your reward to arrive soon! We'll be sending out another batch of rewards as soon as we return from Gen Con, so if you're receiving a hand knit doll or a personalized obituary, your rewards will ship out shortly!
** We recently charged cards for those of you who who pre-ordered or purchased additional items through Backerkit. If you think your payment info may be out of date, you can check & update your information through THIS LINK.

Rewards Fulfillment is Under Way!

We realize we're updating a lot as of late and that's because WE'VE GOT A LOT GOING ON. We want to keep you in the know as to what's going on with all the stuff you've ordered from us. And it's well under way - the rewards train is nearly leaving the station! Choo choo!
We had a Packing Party!
This past Saturday we gathered everyone we knew to help us stuff envelopes full of postcards for all of you who pledged at the Sympathy Package tier or higher. Thanks to Kickstarter, we got to take over their kitchen space as we stuffed hundreds of envelopes. Thank you to everyone who came out to help us!
We're gonna finish putting together our rewards packages over the next week or two. These will sent separately from our games, which will be shipping out from warehouses in the US or UK. The US shipment is well on it's way and should arrive at our warehouse on August 9th (!!!). The UK shipment left Hong Kong this past Friday and should arrive on August 15th, so folks outside of the US & Canada should expect to wait a tad longer. That being said, we're still on schedule to finish fulfillment before our Pacific Northwest Tour!
And don't think we forgot about the print and play! It's ready to go and will be send to ya'll digitally through Backerkit once the physical game starts to ship out of the warehouse.
** Those of you who who pre-ordered or purchased additional items through Backerkit, expect your cards to be charged sometime in the next few weeks. Please, if you think you're payment info may be out of date, check & update your information through THIS LINK.

Sound the alarms! We're closing our pre-order store on July 16th! If you want to snag a copy of the game and have it ship out with our Kickstarter batch, please don't delay!
Yes, the game will be available to purchase online afterwards, BUT you'll have to wait until after we fulfill our campaign. So this is the fastest way to get the game in your grubby little hands.

An Important Announcement about Pre-orders!
If you haven't pre-ordered a copy of the game yet, we'll be ending pre-orders on Monday, July 16th. Again, Monday, July 16th will be the last day to pre-order Someone Has Died.
After that, we will still have copies available for sale online sometime after the pre-order deadline, but if you want to receive your copy of the game along with everyone else, you have two weeks left to pre-order!
If you're a Kickstarter backer or you've already pre-order your copy, hooray! Monday, July 16th will be the last day you can update your survey. You'll still be able to change your shipping address, but if you need to change any other information, please update it by Monday, July 16th.
We will send out another reminder when we're closer to the cut-off date, as well as a reminder of when we'll be charging the cards for those who did pre-order. If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach us here on Kickstarter or email us at [email protected].
In other news!
In our last update, we announced our summer convention schedule! We'll be at CT FIG, GEN CON, and PAX West, but that just wasn't enough for us! We'll be going straight from PAX West in Seattle to Portland for Rose City Comic Con, for what we're calling the Someone Has Died Pacific Northwest Tour!
Portland, here we come!
